Developing an experiential learning school, classroom, homeschool or any other kind of program is an exciting and incredible undertaking for any experiential educator! Starting off on the right foot is essential so that you can lead a productive and dynamic experiential school or learning program for years to come.
I imagine the reason you found yourself on this page is because you are inspired to put experiential learning into action with a program of your own. While you may not know exactly what your dream experiential school, program, or curriculum will look like right now, you do know what you DON’T want it to look like:
You’re not looking for a one-size-fits-all approach.
One-size-fits-all is not experiential and it doesn’t serve your kids.
You’re not looking to start an experiential school or program or revamp curriculum to just more of the same.
You want real-world, authentic learning experiences that provide skill-building opportunities for your students.
And you’re looking for a change, but are not looking to reinvent the wheel.
You don’t have to. That is the beauty of experiential learning and being an experiential educator!
You desire support to transform, build, or develop an exciting, effective, and organized experiential learning program that you can confidently launch and maintain on your own or with your experiential team.
That is where Experiential Learning Depot comes in.
As an experiential learning consultant (and experiential educator myself), I would love to help you position yourself and your team to achieve your experiential school, program, or curriculum goals. How can I do that?

I offer two different consulting structures:
- Zoom Calls: Time is limited here, so this offer works well for those of you that are clear on experiential school or program goals and desired outcomes. The session is 30-60 minutes of intensive discussion and planning. You will end your session with clear and actionable steps to take moving forward.
- Day of Voxer: I am available to you through the Voxer chat/walkie-talkie app from 9 AM - 5 PM (CST). You pick my brain about anything and everything experiential learning at your own pace. It's more open-ended than the Zoom option because there is more time to reflect and evolve based on the conversation. Action items can be discussed, acted upon, and revisited throughout the day. I am there to offer insight and feedback for a full day.
- Free Discovery Call: Not sure which of these options is right for you, if any? Schedule a free 15-minute Zoom call with me to chat and get to know each other.
This consulting option is a 30-60 minute intensive video call using Zoom. When you book you receive a link to a Zoom room that we will use for our chat.
The Zoom option is great for those of you who:
The Zoom option is great for those of you who:
- Are developing experiential schools or programs or are revamping classroom curriculum.
- Are facing challenges in an existing experiential school or program that you'd like help working through.
- Are looking to refine existing ideas. You might have specific talking points and session goals in mind before we begin to effectively utilize the short time we have together.
- Would like to include other members of your team. You can share the Zoom link with partners or team members. I highly recommend limiting the number of additional participants to 2.
You're interested, now what?
- Head to the scheduling page and check out availability! Schedule a 1:1 meeting with me, your experiential learning consultant.

- Check out our Voxer option below if you are looking for a more casual and reflective consulting structure.
It would be great if you could...

2) Pick my brain for the day. Get just the right amount of support to get you to that dream experiential school, homeschool, classroom, summer program, camp, etc.
Well, I have some good news for you, friend.
That’s exactly what you sign up for when you book a Day of Voxer with me, your personal experiential learning consultant!

How does a Day of Voxer work?
Voxer is a walkie-talkie app that allows us to exchange voice and text messages.
During a Day of Voxer, we will dive deeply into your goals as they relate to developing, launching, implementing, or managing an experiential school or program.
We will share ideas with each other, squash hang-ups that are preventing you from effectively or seamlessly moving forward with your ideas, and either build an incredible experiential learning program/experience together or reinvent and transform your current, stale learning environment. Imagine the possibilities!

Here's how it works:
1. You choose a date for your Day of Voxer.
You don’t need to free your calendar for this. A Day of Voxer casually flows alongside your day and tasks. It is very work/child/pet/rest friendly!
You just need to make sure you have enough time between your daily activities to listen and reply to messages - as well as the mental space to process our conversation.
2. We get you set up on Voxer.
If you don’t have a Voxer account, you’ll create one - it’s free.
We’ll add each other on Voxer, and you can send me a message in advance to tell me more about your hopes for our day together.
3. When your Day of Voxer comes, you’ll have access to me from 9 AM CT to 5 PM CT
Don’t worry - this isn’t an 8-hour chat, and you’re not expected or supposed to be sitting by your phone waiting for replies. We’ll be exchanging messages throughout the day at a steady yet relaxed pace.
The best thing about a Day of Voxer is that we have space in between messages to reflect, ruminate, take notes, create, plan, etc. as it relates to our conversation.
That is part of what makes a Day of Voxer so effective.

What can we talk about/work on/accomplish during our Day of Voxer?
You may not know what you want to talk about or accomplish with this structure, and that's okay. It is kind of the point. Sometimes we just know that things are off somehow. That is exactly where I come in.
During your Day of Voxer, I’ll be digging deep, asking questions, and keeping us on track until we get to the core of your challenges, needs or desired goals.
Here are some examples of possible discussion topics:
1. Personalizing an experiential learning format, structure, or schedule for your experiential school or program
2. Determining suitable experiential learning activities and developing an implementation strategy
3. Developing and planning a self-directed project-based learning facilitation strategy
4. Designing and implementing a senior project experience that works well for your students
5. Working through challenges present in an existing experiential learning program
6. Developing a culture-building and philosophy-sharing plan for reluctant colleagues, staff, or team members
7. Developing an experiential homeschool program
8. Developing an experiential summer program or camp
9. Adding educational travel to your school or homeschool curriculum
10. Develop systems for your teacher team to avoid burnout and confusion
***If you are looking for a specific resource or lesson plan, this is not the right avenue. If you desire specific lesson plans, tool kits, or other physical/digital resources, head over to my experiential learning resources page.

How much time is included in a Day of Voxer?
You’ll have access to me between 9 AM CT and 5 PM CT. How many of the eight hours you utilize and to what intensity are entirely up to you. Some clients do not start right at 9 AM CT and some wrap up the session before 5 PM CT. It depends on your schedule and availability during that window of time.
How available do I need to be over a Day of Voxer?
During a Day of Voxer, we’ll be exchanging messages at a slow yet steady pace throughout the day. Some clients will not reply to one of my messages for an hour because they are immersed in an activity with their students, are making dinner for their kids, are walking their dogs, or are reflecting on our conversation. This window of time is yours and you can choose how you use it.
Is Voxer free?
Yes, it is. And it’s available for both mobile and desktop. Note that at this time Safari does not support the walkie talkie/audio feature.
Do I have to be an experiential educator or have had experience with experiential education for a session to be effective?
Absolutely not, that is what I'm for! I am here to guide anyone and everyone through the journey. You might be wondering if a Zoom call would be more effective for those with less experience because we would be chatting face-to-face. Both structures are effective in their own way. If you're not sure which direction to go, schedule a discovery call with me to talk it out.
I have one more question before I book.
